Aqua

A warm, watery chorus in a fish tank.

Aqua is inspired by the classic analog chorus sound: warm, wide and slightly seasick in the best way. Turn it down for a gentle sheen, turn it up for full shimmer. And yes, the fish is watching.

What you get

• Three voices: the classic, a thicker one, and one that sounds like it is under water.
• Drift: a slow, uneven wander, so it never moves quite the same way twice.
• Age: darkens and softens the chorus, like a well-worn old pedal.
• Width: spread the chorus out to the left and right.
• True stereo: in and out.
• Click the water: bubbles rise and the fish gets a fright.
• Presets included, so a good sound is one click away.
• One payment, yours to keep.

What it is good for

• Making guitars, keys and synths wider and richer.
• Thickening vocals and backing vocals without it being obvious.
• Dreamy, far-away sounds.
• A bit of lo-fi wobble on anything too clean.

Requirements

• Mac: macOS 11 or later, Intel or Apple silicon. AU and VST3.
• Windows: Windows 8.1 or later, 64-bit. VST3.
• A DAW or host that loads AU or VST3 plugins.
