EchoShift

A delay whose echoes bend in pitch as they go.

EchoShift is a tempo-locked delay where every repeat can slide up or down in pitch, so one note can turn into a climbing or falling melody. Leave the pitch alone and it is a clean, musical delay. Push it and the echoes start writing parts of their own.

What you get

• Two pitch stops: choose which repeat each bend lands on, up to an octave up or down. Stack them and the echoes climb or fall in two stages.
• Glide: make the pitch snap or slide, in a straight line or with the lazy ease of a tape machine changing speed.
• Three characters: Clean, Tape or Warble.
• Ping pong: bounce the repeats from left to right, as wide as you like.
• Hold: catch the repeats and keep them looping while you play over the top.
• Always in time: locked to your project tempo, from 1/32 up to a full bar.
• Presets included, so a good sound is one click away.
• One payment, yours to keep.

What it is good for

• Vocal throws that rise or drop at the end of a line.
• Turning one guitar or synth note into a whole riff.
• Dark, swaying dub echoes.
• A plain delay that just sits in time, when that is all you need.

Requirements

• Mac: macOS 11 or later, Intel or Apple silicon. AU and VST3.
• Windows: Windows 8.1 or later, 64-bit. VST3.
• A DAW or host that loads AU or VST3 plugins.
