Smear

A lush reverb you can grind into grains.

Smear starts as a big, smooth reverb. Then there is the SMEAR slider. Slide it from CLEAN toward SHREDDED and the tail breaks up into grains, from a light dusting of texture to something properly torn apart.

What you get

• Five reverbs: Hall, Plate, Room, Shimmer and Swell. Shimmer climbs an octave. Swell fades your notes in with no attack.
• The SMEAR slider: one move from clean to shredded.
• Tails in time: lock the length of the reverb to your song, from an eighth note up to one bar.
